it would be in (or near) your guildwars folder. The question would be where is your gw.exe on your computer, look to the folder that is in, or go one level up and see if its in that folder (most times you can find it in C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\ for xp or if you are using a later windows version C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Documents\Guild Wars\ )

if you dont know where the memory is on your computer you need to take it to someone who can replace it. Did you buy the computer from a computer store? What kind of computer is it--laptop, desktop?

Ooh, welcome to 5 years ago - I knew stuff back then.

Forget about the memory - that isn't the issue here; it's permissions.

Sharing accounts is against the EULA (not that Anet have ever cared). Playing on your own account using someone else's computer is completely fine.

No. I believe the reasoning is that is makes life easier for Anet when they have to resolve disputes. If an account is shared by two people (call them Bob and Joe) that don't want to associate any more, Anet can solve any problems by simply saying 'well, the account belongs to Bob so Joe has no claim to it or anything on it'. Bad luck for Joe, but easy for Anet. This is why I mentioned Anet doesn't really care if you do it - it's just a get out easy clause for them rather than anything that's necessarily detrimental to the game.
